Towards the end of the first meeting between the Chiang Mai University School of Public Policy and the TEDxChiangMai team, I was assigned the role of coordinator between organizations. Since then, I helped the school conceive, plan, and realize all the agreed upon ideas into activity booths that would be displayed at the TEDxChiangMai 2018.

On Saturday, 10 February 2018 the school opened its booths to TEDx participants at the Le Méridien Chiang Mai. The theme of the room was “Voice of Chiang Mai” and included: a poster exhibition, hot spot map, scenarios of the city in 2040, red carpet interview, and demo of a ‘check-in’ problem mobile application.

I really enjoyed explaining our activities and talking to the participants; very diverse group of people, from different cultures, work experiences, and ages. People understood the activities and were happy to participate.

Overall this was a great experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to build my coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Thank you so much Dr. Ora-orn Poocharoen, Director of the Chiang Mai University School of Public Policy, Mr. Martin Venzky-Stalling and TEDxChiangMai team for letting me be part of this awesome event!
